Privacy Policy

AI Fluent is a private AI consulting business operated by Florian Ortner in Dubai, UAE. I build Company Brains for corporate clients. This policy explains what data I collect when you visit this website or engage me to build a Company Brain, and what I do with it.

1. Information I Collect From the Website

The website itself collects very little. There is no contact form. The only personal data that may reach me through the site is what you choose to send:

• Discovery call bookings: When you click "Book a discovery call," you are redirected to my Calendly page. The name, email, and any context you enter are handled by Calendly and forwarded to me by email. See Calendly's own privacy policy for how they process that data.
• Direct email: If you email florian@aifluent.info, your message and email address sit in my mailbox like any normal business correspondence.

2. Information I Collect During a Client Engagement

When you engage me to build a Company Brain, I work with materials your company chooses to share: documents, internal records, meeting notes, contracts, and similar artefacts. A few points matter:

• Your data stays inside your systems. A Company Brain is built inside a vault that your company owns and controls. I do not extract or copy your documents to my own systems beyond what is strictly required to do the work.
• I access your data only with your authorisation and only for the purpose of building, maintaining, and improving your Company Brain.
• Confidentiality is default. I treat everything shared during an engagement as strictly confidential. A mutual NDA is signed at the start of every engagement unless the client prefers otherwise.

3. How I Use Personal Information

I use the personal information I hold only for legitimate purposes:

• Responding to enquiries and scheduling calls
• Delivering and maintaining the services a client has engaged me for
• Meeting legal, accounting, and tax obligations under UAE law

4. Data Sharing

I do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. Personal information is only shared with:

• Infrastructure providers I rely on to operate (for example, email hosting, scheduling platforms, and cloud hosting providers). These providers are bound by their own contracts and privacy policies.
• Authorities where required by UAE law or a valid legal order.

No client data is ever used for marketing, training public AI models, or any purpose outside our engagement.

5. Data Storage, Retention, and Security

Data is stored only as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, or as long as required by UAE law. For client engagements, retention terms are agreed in the engagement contract. For website and email enquiries, I delete information once it has served its purpose.

I take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information from unauthorised access, alteration, loss, or destruction. No system is 100% secure, so I recommend that sensitive material is shared through agreed secure channels rather than email.

6. Your Rights Under UAE PDPL

Under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data I hold about you
• Correct or update inaccurate or incomplete data
• Request deletion of your data, subject to legal and contractual obligations
• Object to or restrict specific processing activities
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

7. Cookies and Analytics

This site sets no first-party cookies. Third-party services you interact with (such as scheduling platforms, or advertising tags when campaigns are active) may set their own cookies on their own domains. Blocking third-party cookies will not affect basic site functionality.
